Past projects
There’s no better way to show you what we are capable of at Vintage Wheels then by displaying some of the work we have done in the past. We are truly proud of our past restoration projects and hope you will enjoy seeing the results as much as we did working on these amazing vehicles.
Moto Guzzi Hispania

This is the first bike Peter & Benjamin found online which kick-started Vintage Wheels to where it is today. The bike had had only one owner. A lovely older gentleman in Estepona, Málaga. When Peter went to view it the first time, he could really see just how much this bike meant to the man, but now in his 80’s he just didn’t have the strength to keep riding. However, that did not stop him from showing Peter that it still worked, and he kicked it over a few times, hopped on and disappeared for 10 minutes. I suppose you could say he was saying goodbye. The bike itself had been sitting there for a long while without use and the usual problems occurred. The carburettor needed replacing. The fuel tank needed a deep clean inside. The paintwork work was tired. Brakes didn’t work. The guys worked hard on it as you can see from the first photo to the last. Once finished it sold much faster than what they were expecting, and the charming bike found a great new Swedish owner in Marbella. The rest as they say is history. Vintage Wheels was born.

Moto Guzzi Hispania

Because of the success of the very first MotoGuzzi, Peter and Benjamin decided to go with another. The Hispanias just capture the imagination, its curves, its subtle characteristics and most importantly its charm. This bike was a carbon copy of the sister Hispania they had done and so the experience came into play. Quickly becoming a collectors bike, the guys didn’t have this up for sale for too long. The owner had asked to remain anonymous and the price he paid the same. Here at Vintage Wheels we like to think of our clients more as friends and a place people with the same interests can feel comfortable. Our little Hispania remains in Spain and is very well looked after.
